Overselling, Presale & Exceptions

We know the importance of having pre-orders and overselling available and want to help out in any way we can. In order for iLogistics USA to accommodate these scenarios, all subsequent orders will not fall under our 24 hour fulfillment window.

CSV Order Fulfillment:

If you do not have a direct store connection and need to process orders via a CSV Upload, these orders will not fall under the 24-hour fulfillment window. This is due to the potential for a high volume of orders being uploaded at once vs. a normal order flow.

Overselling:

By default, if a product is oversold, i Logistics USA will place the order into a backordered tier that will not ship the order. These orders will fall outside of SLA agreements. and will remain in this hold until either the item is restocked at the i Logistics USA warehouse, or the "Allow Partial" check box is checked to send the rest of the items to the customer.

This also applies if the brand allows for products to continue to sell when out of stock on their website.

Presales:

i Logistics USA allows for brands to offer pre-orders and pre-sales of products. i Logistics USA will work with you to review the presale checklist that includes the following items to ensure an efficient shipping process when it's time to ship:

1. Confirm the timeline for your presale. We want to make sure this presale is both successful and efficient! A longer lead time for presale can lead to potential complications that can be avoided by mapping a timeline together that is feasible and still adheres to the i Logistics USA processes.

2.  Confirm how i Logistics USA will receive the presale orders. Are these orders going to be manually entered via CSV file, or will these be flowing in through integrations and placed on hold? When it is time to start fulfilling orders, we will want to confirm all orders have been received in either method. It will be the responsibility of the client to ensure there are not duplicate or missing orders from the presale orders we receive.

3. Setting expectations when the product arrives to the warehouse. i Logistics USA is just as excited about this new product as you are! The product arriving at the warehouse is still subject to i Logistics USA receiving standards, QA check, count, and potential SOW if not shelf ready. If the product is shelf ready when it arrives, the product is still subject to our receiving and inventory SLA timelines of 24-48 hours check-in time to be placed in a pickable location to start fulfilling orders.

4. Unless the orders are prioritized as orders you want to be fulfilled first once the product is in a pickable location, we will still treat the orders as any other order that we receive. The presale orders will be fulfilled with your current flow of orders, which ensures that current business is still efficiently flowing, but depending on the size of presale, may mean those presale orders will be fulfilled over the course of a few days.

AGAIN, setting a timeline and expectations of receiving and fulfillment will ensure the presale goes smoothly!

All orders in this category fall outside of our 24 hour fulfillment window - including all subsequent orders. When the product arrives at one of our warehouses to be fulfilled, we will begin fulfilling from the oldest order.
