Generic Shipping Methods in ShipHero

We use Generic methods for all non standard shipments from i Logistics USA.

When manual orders are created and the order is not being shipped Cheapest -> Fastest (iLo carrier), the appropriate Generic Method must be selected for accurate shipment of the order.

The below Generic methods are the current methods that need to be set to ensure that we know how to fulfill the order if there are any of the below scenarios:

Generic/ Pick Up

  • When you go to pick up the order. All pickup requests must be scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm EST.

Generic/ Third Party

  • A third party carrier account used (ie not a i Logistics USA carrier account). A label must be attached along with this order or it will be shipped by i Logistics USA via the selected carrier.

Generic/ Freight

  • Similar to a Third Party method, but this method will be on a pallet(s) and will require freight brokering.
